TCU offers a variety of talent-based awards. The recipients of these awards are recommended by the individual departments.

Amount:  Award amounts vary.

Eligibility:  Grants-in-aid for intercollegiate athletics are awarded in accordance with the policies and procedures of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and Big XII Conference. Additionally, student-athletes who apply for federal or state grants or for other TCU financial assistance programs must meet the standards for regular financial aid. Amount:  $10,000 or more for one academic year.

Eligibility:  Exceptional talent in art, ballet and modern dance, music, or theatre. For audition/portfolio information, please contact the College of Fine Arts.  

Amount:  Award amounts vary from $2,500 to $15,000 for one academic year.

Amount: $10,000 or more for one academic year.

Amount:  Award amounts vary from $1,500 to full tuition for up to 18 hours per semester. 

Eligibility:  See School of Music for information on application and audition process.  Recommendations are made by the Director of Bands after an audition. Awards are renewable upon recommendation of the Band Director and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress.

Amount:  Award amounts of $3,000 per year.

Eligibility:  Funds are available to some members of the Horned Frog Band. Recommendations are made by the Director of Bands after an audition. Awards are renewable upon recommendation of the Band Director and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress.

Amount:  Award amounts vary from $8,000 to $20,000 per year.

Eligibility:  Funds are available to some members of the University Choral Program. Recommendations are made by the Choral Director after an audition. Awards are renewable upon recommendation of Choral Director and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress. For additional information, contact the School of Music.

Amount:  Award amounts vary from $6,000 to $40,000 per year.

Eligibility: Funds are available to some members of the University Orchestra. Recommendations are made by the Orchestra Director after an audition. Awards are renewable upon recommendation of Orchestra Director and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress. For additional information, contact the School of Music.

Amount:  Award amounts vary from $3,000 to $12,000.
